Amla is one of the most important herbs in Ayurveda and is widely used to health maintain skin and hair health. It is a powerful antioxidant with an ORAC value 75 times higher than goji berries, 50 times greater than raw blueberries,and 2 1/2 times higher than acai fruit. Amla has a sour astringent taste when consumed as a fruit. We have pioneered a technology that combines the CO2 extracts, with hydrophilic extracts to create a new generation of extract that is very powerful but still able to be delivered in a vegetarian capsule. It is in this way that we can bind together extracts from both polarities of the plant to create a complete extract that is supercharged.
